Our Leadership Team
Ran Shahor
Co-Founder, CEO & Board Member
Ran is a Brigadier General (Ret.) who founded the world-renowned cybersecurity program of the Intelligence branch of the Israeli Defense Forces. After 27 years of service, Ran held multiple leadership roles in the private sector. Prior to co-founding SAGE Cyber, Ran was the founder and the Co-CEO of Focal Energy – a clean energy power plant developer and owner. Prior to Focal Energy, Ran was Managing Partner of Star Ventures, a $1 billion global venture capital group. Ran started his career in the elite IDF special forces unit “Sayeret Matkal” and later became the Commander of that unit.
Moshe Ishai
Co-Founder & Board Member
Moshe is a world class expert in cybersecurity. He serves as a senior advisor to several National Cyber CERT nation level committees. Moshe has over 25 years of broad experience and knowledge in cybersecurity and information systems. He has played a major role in helping global clients in the financial, technology, telecommunications and defense sectors successfully implement cybersecurity defense strategies. Before co-founding SAGE Cyber, Moshe served as the CEO of COMSEC – the first and largest information security and cybersecurity consulting group in Israel. Moshe worked for the Israeli DoD, Chaired nation state cyber security committees, was a senior advisor of the Israeli National Cyber Bureau, and Israel’s National Cyber Authority.
Shir Raz Even-Zohar
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining SAGE Cyber, Shir was the founder and CEO of SEZ Strategy, a company providing strategic planning for high technology start-up companies. Before SEZ, she held positions in product management, business development and customer service for Dario, a healthcare company that creates innovative mobile and digital tools that empower and engage users to lead healthier lives. Previously, Shir was a senior project manager of business development at Medingo Roche, a medical device company that was engaged in the development of solutions for people with diabetes. Shir also served as senior manager at Ernst & Young in the business consultancy group specializing in assisting startup companies from healthcare, and cleantech arena. Shir received a B.A. in Economics and Computer Engineering from Ben Gurion University. She received an M.A. in Economics from Tel Aviv University.
Rich Eisenberg
VP of Enterprise Sales
Richard began his tech career as a global program manager in financial services before moving into the world of security startups. Richard has ignited several disruptive software companies by winning their largest enterprise customers and achieving successful exits. Skilled in building, coaching, and enabling sales teams to outperform quota, Richard brings excellence in developing revenue-generating strategies, breaking into C-suite conversations, and generating substantial new deals. Outside of Work: He is an avid rock climber, snowboarder, yogi, masters swimmer and iFlyer.
Itai Tomer
Chief Product Officer
Itai has over 25 years of experience in Product Management and Development. Itai held various senior executive and leadership roles Including CEO of Ericsson Media Solutions, Director of Product Management at LogMeIn, VP of Products at Olive-software as well as Director of Product Management at Amdocs where he founded the internal innovation team and led the development of products from the initial idea phase to more than $100M in sales revenue.
Itai founded ‘startsaba’ hub , an education center connecting teenagers with the high-tech industry. He also teaches entrepreneurship at Tel Aviv and Reichmann university and Tech product management at the Technion. Itai holds an MBA from Thames Valley University; an MA in Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University.
Guilad Regev
VP of Customer Success
Guilad is an experienced Customer Success professional with a proven track record in the computer software industry, specializing in Cyber Security. His expertise spans across Technology Business Management, Operations Management, Sales, IT & Security Strategy, Support, and Professional Services. With a Bachelor of Arts degree focused on Computer Science, Guilad brings a strong operational background to his role.
For Guilad, ‘Customer Success’ isn’t just a title; it’s a guiding principle. He believes in fostering a company-wide commitment to customer-centricity, collaborating with colleagues to ensure that every department prioritizes and embodies this ethos.
Idan Goldshtein
VP of Research & Development
With over a decade of experience in the tech industry, Idan Goldshtein currently serves as the VP of Research & Development at Sage Cyber,Specializing in building robust frameworks from scratch using AWS cloud solutions, Idan brings a wealth of expertise to the company.
Prior to joining Sage Cyber, Idan led the Full Stack team at Pomvom, where he played a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions for attraction sites around the globe. His leadership was instrumental in driving the major team at Pomvom to success.
Idan was also the Tech Lead at AI startup Scalez,part of the cybersecurity department at Verint, where he helped build advanced solutions in the crypto and satellites fields.
With a passion for innovation and a track record of success, Idan Goldshtein continues to lead and inspire teams, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the tech industry.
Idan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. When he’s not working on improving the SAGE platform, Idan can be found surrounded by his impressive collection of late model sports cars.

Avery More
Board Member
Avery has served as a member of our board of directors since 2019 after leading the most recent funding round for SAGE Cyber. Mr. More has been investing in Technology companies since 1994 through his own funds and working with larger VC Funds (Sevin Rosen and Menlo Ventures). Recent successful liquidity events were the SolarEdge IPO, the sale of Datorama to Salesforce.com and the Sale of Dome9 Security to Checkpoint Technologies. Prior to his Investment career, Mr. More was the president and chief executive officer of CompuCom Systems Inc. from 1989 to 1993. Mr. More currently serves on the board of directors of Appdome, OverOps & BuzzStream. Avery holds an Electrical Engineer degree from the Technion.
Zohar Alon
Board Member
Zohar Alon is a cyber security pioneer, serial entrepreneur, and investor. In the late 90s, as one of the early employees at Check Point, Zohar created Provider-1, the first security management solution for MSSPs still used by many today. Zohar’s third start-up, Dome9 Security, defined and led the Cloud Security Posture Management category before it was acquired by Check Point for $200M in 2018. As an independent investor, Zohar focuses on Cyber, Cloud & DevOps, SaaS and B2B opportunities, and serves on the board of FireFly, Adaptive Shield, Tamnoon, HolistiCyber and Monogoto among others.

Board Member
Ronen Lago is the CEO of OPORA.IO. He has two decades of experience in developing and deploying advanced intelligence systems and cyber information security products. As the former CTO and Head of R&D in Tier-1 enterprises, Ronen led a range of innovative multidisciplinary global development teams at CYE, Daimler AG, Lockheed-Martin, Israeli Air Industry and Motorola. Ronen served in an elite military intelligence unit and holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Business Management.
Bill Taub

Bill Taub is currently the Senior Vice President of Security at Endeavor, a global sports and entertainment company.
He has vast experience as a CISO with experience in startup, service provider, media-entertainment, and high-tech enterprise cultures. Focus on delivering compliant, sustaining processes and working teams and enabling innovation at the organizational level. Accomplished in policy, federation of identity, anti-malware, vulnerability mitigation, incident response, the human firewall, and security and compliance architecture.
Brian DiPietro
Board Member
Brian DiPietro is the Global Chief Information Security Officer at Warner Music. He is a business centric Cyber Executive with extensive knowledge and experience in building and leading global teams at scale, centered on relentless execution and risk mitigation. Focused on removing friction for the business and providing creative options.
Accomplished in building enterprise level security, governance, and risk mitigation strategies that prioritize the business. Collaborative leader with excellent interpersonal skills and a talent growth and retention track record. Dedicated to a risk-based approach to improving the overall capabilities for the organization
Lenny Vayner
Board Member
Lenny Vayner is a CISO with extensive experience implementing cybersecurity defenses that effectively balance technology adoption with the organization’s risk appetite aimed to support the business objectives.
Possesses excellent communication and relationship-building skills, adept at cultivating talent, and delivering desired outcomes. Able to engage the stakeholders at all levels, including IT and business teams, external auditors, regulatory agencies, investors, and board members.
Holds a BS in Computer Science and an MBA in Strategic Management, multiple industry certifications (CISSP, CSSP, CISM, CRISC, CSSP, Zero Trust Strategist), and several patents. Serves as a Board Member on several non-profits and as a member of Advisory Boards on multiple firms.
